SMS Messaging Terms and Compliance

  1. Program Description

    Pure Coast Water Company sends text messages to customers and prospective customers who request a free water test, quote, or appointment through our website at https://purecoastwaterco.com/ or our scheduling forms, and who explicitly opt in to receive SMS messages. Opt-in is collected through web forms with a dedicated, unchecked checkbox for SMS consent. Messages include water test and appointment confirmations, appointment reminders, rescheduling updates, customer support, and offers related to our water treatment services. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase.

  2. Cancellation Instructions

    You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Simply text "STOP" to the same number that sent you messages. Upon sending "STOP," we will confirm your unsubscribe status via SMS. Following this confirmation, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. To rejoin, sign up as you did initially, and we will resume sending SMS messages to you.

  3. Support Information

    If you experience issues with the messaging program, reply with the keyword "HELP" for more assistance, or reach out directly to [email protected] or call +1 619-853-6087, 7 days a week, 8am to 6pm Pacific.

  4. Carrier Liability

    Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

  5. Message and Data Rates

    Message and data rates may apply for messages sent to you from us and to us from you. Message frequency varies based on your service usage and appointment schedule. For questions about your text plan or data plan, contact your wireless provider.

  6. Supported Carriers

    Our SMS program works with all major U.S. wireless carriers, including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, and most regional carriers.

  7. Age Restriction

    You must be 18 years or older to participate in our SMS program.

  8. Privacy Policy

    For privacy-related inquiries, please refer to our Privacy Policy. We do not share your mobile number or text messaging opt-in data and consent with third parties for marketing purposes.

We comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and CTIA guidelines, regarding the use of SMS communications.

General Terms

This website (the "Site") is owned and operated by Pure Coast Water Company LLC ("Company," "we," or "us"). By using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and to use the Site in accordance with these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, and any additional terms that apply to specific products, services, or written agreements with Pure Coast Water Company LLC.

Accessing the Site, in any manner, whether automated or otherwise, constitutes use of the Site and your agreement to be bound by these Terms of Service.

We reserve the right to change these Terms of Service or to impose new conditions on the use of the Site from time to time, in which case we will post the revised Terms of Service on this website. By continuing to use the Site after we post any such changes, you accept the Terms of Service, as modified.

Water Tests, Quotes and Promotional Offers

Free In-Home Water Test

Our in-home water test is free and comes with no obligation to buy. Test results reflect your water at the time of testing and are provided to help you choose a water treatment system. They are not a certified laboratory analysis or medical advice.

Pricing and Quotes

Prices shown with a plus sign (for example, "$3,399+") are starting prices. Your final price depends on your home, your water test results, plumbing conditions, and local code requirements, and will be confirmed in a written quote before any work begins. The written quote and signed agreement control over any price shown on the Site.

Promotional Offers

  • Discounts such as "40% off" are calculated from our standard price for the specific system described and apply only to that system
  • Offers are valid until the end date shown and may require a qualifying free water test or a signed agreement before that date
  • Offers cannot be combined unless stated, have no cash value, and may be changed or ended at any time for quotes not yet accepted
  • Installation pricing applies within our service area, a 90-mile radius of San Diego

Water quality and contaminant information on the Site comes from public sources, such as the Environmental Working Group (EWG) Tap Water Database and local water agencies, and may not reflect the water at your home.

Financing

Financing is offered through third-party lenders and is subject to credit approval. Monthly payment amounts shown on the Site, such as "from $60/month," are estimates for illustration only. Your actual rate, term, and payment are set by the lender based on your application and will be disclosed by the lender before you agree. Pure Coast Water Company LLC is not a lender and does not make credit decisions.

Installation and Warranty

  • Installation is performed by our local technicians, usually in a single visit. Timing depends on your home and scheduling.
  • Our lifetime warranty applies to whole home water softener and filtration systems we install, under the written warranty provided at installation. The written warranty controls and describes what is covered, how to make a claim, and any exclusions.
  • Reverse osmosis drinking water systems include a 1-year limited warranty unless your written warranty states otherwise.
  • Replaceable filters, cartridges, membranes, salt, and other consumables are not covered by the warranty and need periodic replacement.

Intellectual Property Rights

Our Limited License to You

This Site and all the materials available on the Site are the property of Pure Coast Water Company LLC and/or our affiliates or licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. The Site is provided solely for your personal non-commercial use.

You may not use the Site or the materials available on the Site in a manner that constitutes an infringement of our rights or that has not been authorized by us.

Unless explicitly authorized, you may not modify, copy, reproduce, republish, upload, post, transmit, translate, sell, create derivative works, exploit, or distribute in any manner or medium any material from the Site. However, you may download and/or print one copy of individual pages for your personal, non-commercial use, provided that you keep intact all copyright and other proprietary notices.

Your License to Us

By posting or submitting any material (including reviews, comments, social media posts, photos, and videos) to us via the Site, review sites, or other digital venues, you represent that you own the material or have obtained the necessary permissions. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pure Coast Water Company LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Pure Coast Water Company LLC, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, agents, and employees from any claims, causes of action, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising out of or related to your breach of these Terms of Service.

Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the Site, without notice, if we determine that you have violated these Terms of Service or engaged in conduct that we deem inappropriate or unlawful. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the Site and any content obtained from it.

Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration in San Diego County, California, except that either party may bring an individual claim in small claims court if it qualifies.
