Salt Free Conditioner with NAC Technology

Tired of hauling 40 pound salt bags to your garage every month? Our salt free water conditioner protects your entire home from hard water scale using Nucleation Assisted Crystallization (NAC) technology, no salt, no electricity, no drain line, and no maintenance required.

Unlike traditional softeners that strip calcium and magnesium from your water using sodium, this system takes a different approach. NAC media releases a template that attracts hardness minerals and converts them into microscopic crystals, then carries those crystals harmlessly through your plumbing instead of trapping and flushing them with salt brine. The result: no scale buildup on fixtures, water heaters, and appliances, without adding a single grain of sodium to your drinking water.

Built on the trusted Clack 10x54 tank, this system installs with zero electrical connection and zero backwash cycle. Threaded connections rotate a full 365 degrees, keeping installation fast and straightforward for your home's existing plumbing.

Why San Diego Homeowners Choose Salt Free

For households avoiding sodium for health reasons, renters and homeowners in areas with salt discharge restrictions, or anyone who wants scale protection without the upkeep of a traditional softener, this system delivers whole home protection with none of the hassle. No timers to program. No salt to buy. No electricity bill impact. Just consistent, passive protection for your pipes, water heater, and appliances.

Addon: Clack WS1: Smart, Efficient Water Softening Technology

Every regeneration cycle on your Clack WS1 water softener begins with backwash, and it's doing more work than most homeowners realize. During backwash, the system reverses water flow, pushing water upward from the bottom of the tank to the top. That upward flush lifts and loosens the resin bed, clearing out sediment that's built up in the media and repositioning the resin bed for the regeneration steps that follow.

This matters more than it sounds. Without a proper backwash, sediment and fine debris settle and compact between the resin beads over time. A compacted bed restricts water flow, forces the system to work harder to push water through, and reduces the resin's ability to actually contact and exchange hardness minerals. Appropriate backwash timing is what maintains resin bed cleanliness over the long run, which directly protects the resin from premature fouling and extends how many years it performs at full capacity before needing replacement.
